Hey Adrian, hey Alan,
any news on your progress with realtime playback of HD/dpx/2K sequences?
Found something that works out of the box?
Am sitting here trying to playback a 200f *.exr sequence (2K/42MB/frame from RAM) and have a noticeable urge to throw something out the window...
Any fileformat you can recommend for 16/32bit work?
42GB for a 5 layer sequence starts making diskspace _not cheap at all.
Cheers
tim

adrian wrote:it's good in that we can show them end result on a domestic set, and also that we can all stand around a big (ish) tv and see without squinting!
we have a grade one HD monitor, but it's a little 17" jobby, makes show and tell with 5 clients a bit crowded!

Is that good for client approval, or is that not its purpose?
