Opinions on the new render manager tend to be diametrically opposed; people
either love it to bits or hate it with a vengeance. Which suggests to me
that some people are using it in a very different way to others. Maybe it
would be more constructive if the discussion turned to what people want to
achieve with it and how they're actually trying to do what it is they're
trying to achieve.
