Subject : anti-aliasing problem - fill and matte expanding
Hi y'all,

I've got a small a.a. problem that isn't entirely unexpected.
I have two areas of the screen that are rendered with alphas. The alphas on these two areas are effectively inverted versions of each other.
When the two layers are put together on a background, the background shows through the gap in the aliasing borders (example image provided).

The images are unpremultiplied renders, so the fills are correct.

I'm sure I've seen a filter or some sort of image manipulation for a cutout that could not just expand the border of the alpha, but also expand the coloured borders of the fill at the same time.
It may have been an effect that expands the colours in the fill so that rendermapped Unique Poly UVs image doesn't show dark edges.

What I'm after is a filter that will expand the fill and matte by one pixel around the border to compensate for that a.a. seam.

Make sense?

Ta,

Adam.
