you can tell deadline to not reload the scene for each frame, you have to change the group size.

Check what priority xsibatch is running with.

Subject: Deadline XSI renders very slowly (slightly O/T)

I'm running the free version of Deadline (2.7.27948) at home, and
something I've noticed is that a frame that takes 10 minutes to render
within XSI will take about 30 to render with Deadline.

I know Deadline reloads the XSI scene each frame, but this ought to add
about 2 minutes at the most. There are 4 tails and a particle system in
the scene, but they are all cached and accessible, so I don't imagine
that Deadline / Xsibatch is resimulating, but this is about the only
thing I can think of that could be blowing out the render times so
substantially.

Does anyone have any ideas / experienced this before?

Ta,

Dan Creighton
