I could imagine, someone with the deeper knowledge could write a wrapper shader similar to the one we had for v5.11 and the architectural material?! Would be a great feature anyway: to be able to assign the different components like specular, diffuse, reflection, refraction, etc. to different channels inside every shader in XSI.

Anyone having problems with the Car Shader when trying to ouput
render Channels? We are getting everything coming out black with zero alpha
for any object with the Car shader applied to it. Thats in the defuse,
irradience, and specular passes.
Is this a bug? Does this mean I
can't use the render channels and must make pick out individual
passes?
