My temporary not-very-satisfactory solution is to open up the shader
tree in the material manager. It seems to allow me to see a bit more
but has no locking button so that really really really bad thing that
happens when you disconnect some nodes for reasons of experimentation
and then you lose them when you close the window accidentally. I would
like to vote for the I-will-delete-my-nodes-when-I-want-to approach to
tidying up the rendertree please. Aidan Gibbons wrote: I have experienced this a few times too - very strange. You cant scroll across to the end. Im using Fedora Core 5. I get around it by saving the material preset and loading it in again but im sure there's another/better way.. ________________________________________ From: owner-xsi(at)Softimage.COM [owner-xsi(at)Softimage.COM] On Behalf Of Alastair [hearsum(at)glassworks.co.uk] Sent: 30 November 2007 12:32 To: XSI(at)Softimage.COM Subject: render tree woes Hello Has anyone experienced not being able to get to see all the nodes in the rendertree? I have a material of medium complexity and when I try to zoom right it stops me before I can see the end of the tree. I've been having this quite a lot since moving to 6.5 and usually a combination of opening and closing various windows and standing on one leg fixes the problem. Not today unfortunately.
