Subject : Don't want reflective material to lose color

Hey guys,

In XSI, the higher the reflectivity of a material, the more
mirror-like it is, of course, and thus its color (diffuse) kinda
begins to dissapear.

What if I still wanted it to be somewhat reflective but I didn't wish
the main color to get so attenuated? Any idea how I would accomplish
this? What kind of material/shader should I look into?
