Pretty much every feature but cloths, fluids, rigid/softbody sims and
particles is missing in Maya..... and as usual, it can be done with
MEL! (Kinda like giving you an engine and spare mechanical parts and
telling you that if you've got the knowledge, it can become a car!)
For matching transforms, I like this one:

Also, if you use Maya often, you may wanna consider googling for
whatever's the latest version of "X-Tools". It really helps ease the
pain when it comes to modeling.
