I've got it as well. 6.5.
Hi Thiago,

I've had that many times. Not everyday, but on numerous ocassions.
Rigging and renaming, it came just now and soon. Always after few renames it gets stuck and looses keyboard and viewport interactivity.

Thankfully, XSI lets me save the scene just fine, but it gets very glitchy and can crash very easily if you don't close it down when the bug happens. No scene corruption, so as Costa says, it's a minor glitch.
Yes when you know to reboot instantly, otherwise I remember it was nasty feeling when it first came.

I personally haven't figured out how to reproduce it yet... it just happens... when renaming something in the Explorer, sometimes. :/
I get it usually quite soon, like while rigging I have to restart xsi many times per day. While animating it doesn't affect at all, naturally.

ps: 6.02 here, but I believe I recall it happening in 6.0 too. (I don't remember if I had the bug back with 5.11, though.)

There's a nasty random bug that happen with me sometimes, is like when you
rename objects on the explorer sometimes it get stuck there for some reason
and then it crash XSI after a while.
It happen just when I rename in the explorer (not on the PPG), the thing
keep there on the renaming mode, so when I click over that it go back to the
old name I typed and if I click outside It get the new name.. is kinda weird
and it lock the keyboard shortcuts also.
So I need to close XSI (it kinda crash weird) and then open again.. theres
no damage at all to the data that is in the scene.. so it's a minor glitch.

Anyone has that? or is just me?
I can't get it to repro because It's really a random.

6.5 here.

Thanks

Thiago Costa
