I don't think there is any way to do that Brad. CS3 allows dockable panels accessible from the Window menu but they aren't actually menu items. XSI scripting runs circles around After Effects. Check out this link for a little more info on it. (that site is good to bookmark, he is helped write CS3 I think)

I've been doing some research into trying to extend the AE 7.0 menus, and so far the only examples I've found are by creating a "ScriptUI" subdirectory within the Scripts directory, and dropping stuff in there. Problem is, all these scripts appear under the Window Menu. Is there any way for me to get my scripts to appear in the File or Edit menu the way you can with Adobe Bridge or XSI? If so, a simple example script, walk thru, or link to an existing tutorial would be much appreciated.
Thanks! -Brad
