yeah, that alone threw a wet blanket on vista 64 for me.
any news on the likelyhood of a python build that will work in vista 64?

You can't use Python in both versions. pywin32 can only be installed
once on Windows so you can't have the 32bit and the 64bit flavors at
the
same time.
