Yes, we are all old here...and I'm sure I'm not the oldest... but when our 3D animation business started we worked our first few months on a Compaq 286/33

Yes. The first adventure game was text based

called ADVENT (for adventure)

It was further enhanced by Don Woods. I went to highschool with him.

We used to play the game on a Digital PDP-8 mainframe computer.

Ahhh...the good old days...lol

Video game or computer game? Games like chess, draughts were around before video games and I’m pretty sure the first text adventure game was around way before too.
