So you tried -render, right?
How about a -script that opens a scene, like
this:

Ha ha...nice. I get a nasty error that says:
MSG 0.n
fatal 011264: ReleaseSemaphore failed - The handle is
invalid

What
happens if you do something like xsi -script or xsi -render from the command
line?
I'm wondering if I can get a little help on this. I have a
WinXP Pro64bit machine. Recently, my 32bit version of XSI stopped
running. I basically get a splash screen and then it just freezes
forever with the UI not fully loaded. I think this may be due to some weird
DVD driver issues that I had to fix via a little registery hacking.
Thats around when I noticed 32bit XSI wouldn't start but I can't
confirm. So far I've dont just about everything...upgraded graphics
driver, reinstalled XSI, deleted user prefs, etc. XSI 64bit runs just
fine. XSI 32bit v6.02 and v6.5 will not work. I have reported this
to support but I'm hoping someone here might be able to shed a little more
light on my problem. Any
ideas?
