Maybe Fast Manipulation is toggled on under the viewport settings?

hm, i got these cv curves, which have cluster centers on it to move
some points. but when i do, or when i orbit the scene the curvy curve
gets reduced to a straight line.
i bet there is a switch somewhere to teach the curve to update in
realtime and stay curvy. but i forgot where it was :/
