The Marquee kind of lost it when punk hit but 75, 76 I saw a bunch of good
bands there. Remember Alex Harvey?
The Roundhouse, I was AD on a promo for a single by The Selector some time
around the early 80s that we filmed down in the Roundhouse basement. Strange
circular place with radiating tunnels for train maintenance and the weirdest
echo that you could only hear dead centre of the centre section.
The Roebuck was the place to be seen though.
