There is no Linux 64bit-version of XSI yet, is it?
No
And you can't run a linux
32bit app under 64bit, without doing.. black magic
Was it that? Show me the way to next exorcer. All together now...
;) In this case
even black magic might not help due to mainwin.
You need 32 bit compatibility libraries also for graphics driver. I do not know if 32bit libs are installed for nvidia driver in ubuntus automated driver installation. Last time I ran XSI32 on 64 bit linux it was somewhat usable but I had problems with refenced models and some more can't really remember, just went back using 32bit. Currently one slave/fileserver is 64 bit. Alan has ran long time 64bit platform being more like wizard than magigian. If you want to make your life easier it still might be better running 32bit linux.
