So if my dominant foot is the right, should I use a regular stance or a goofy one on a surfboard ?
Not so easy to find as the dominant foot is often the stronger one. Personally, I like it on the back of my surfboard, so I'm regular (left foot in front) with a right dominant foot ;-).
On a computer I use my wacom with my left hand but always use the right hand for the mouse. So if someone push me in the back while I'm working, I have no hand to avoid the screen in my face. The "non right handed world" is not easy ;-).

To determine foot dominance:
1) stand with your feet together, arms at rest by your sides, and look straight ahead at eye level. 2) Ask a friend to quietly come from behind and shove you in the back exactly *straight ahead* when you don't expect it.
3) the foot you step forward with to break your fall is your dominant foot.
Repeat test 3 times because if your friend pushes slightly to one side, you'll obviously use that leg to break your fall.
The most important part of the test is to not brace yourself in anticipation or pre-plan how you'll break your fall. Just let him push, and you react.
This test is often used in Track n' Field for those wanting to learn how
to hurdle or long jump.
