volume effects on pass

Subject : volume effects on pass

Hi All, I'm trying to get the volume_effects to work on a pass, but I'm getting nothing out of it. I can get a volume property to work on my lights, but in the past I've used the volume_effects on a pass and added the lights there. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or is it broken in 6.5?
