google for a review of the quadro fx 4600 and the ATI fireGL7600.
Sorry, don't have the link right now. Conclusion was the ATi card
performes nearly the same in opengl applications and is half the
price. I just ordered one, after I got totally disappointed by a
geforce 8800 gtx.

I'd be very interested in your opinion as well, Sven. I am about to buy
a new machine and FireGL7600 or 5600 (I am on a budget,so..) seems to be
very interesting alternative to (bit overpriced) Quadros. I don't really
want to go gaming card route, no time for nerves and tweaking.
