yeah sorry english no such thing,

Setting the undo to 0 like Guillaume suggests will help a fraction of your two minutes. But it won't make it a super duper delete.
I do believe that there was even talk about a super delete specifically for A big company but that never happened either.

My take is that if you want a super delete all is the following.
It takes 40 sec to start the app, right?
Well then I would kill xsi process through pskill or task manager and restart it instead of deleting for new scene if it really takes 2 min to delete your scene.
Of course if you are looking into deleting a simple character in a bigger scene. Try and see what the character is sharing with the scene.

For instance, material library, make sure each character use their own personal library and that no other object in the scene uses those materials belonging to the character. Same for image clip, animation clip, environment setup (RBD) and so on so forth.

Won't still make it super, but you might be able to reduce the delete from 2 min to 1 min.

Hope those little trick will help your final delete.

Maybe it has changed, but in 5.11 this never saved me any amount of
time with deletion. Perhaps it was due to other factors though.

You can turn off undo/redo by Setting the Undo Level Preference to 0.

SetValue "preferences.General.undo", 0
Delete your objects then set the preference back to its original value.

I remember talking about this a while back, I couldnt find the thread or an
answer.

Can you delete objects in XSI without needing it to prepare for an
'"undelete"? It can take 2 mins + with some heavy scenes..

Thanks
