The 3delight crew mentioned a workflow like this. Setup materials in maya and light in xsi. I don't use maya nor 3dfm so I couldn't test it.

This is a solid rendering plugin though, and DNAsoft is a great company with talented developers. Have fun with it

Haven't had a good route around the specs. but does anyone know if there's any compatibility between the shaders generated between XSI & Maya. i.e. Could you generate materials in one package and export to the other?
