Yes this is a bit of a pain, far too many settings! You need to enable motion blur in your Pass Options, and then check Override scene render options. Leave the settings as is (0.5, 0). Then in your pass's MR options, turn on MBlur and put both your shutter and delay to 0. Remember to set your render region settings to 'use current scene' options.

Hi Guys,

We have never needed to render motion vectors out for RSMB before -
until now - and I cannot for the life of me, even though it has been
discussed countless times here, remember the settings one needs to set
in the motion blur options to do this!!

We are on 6.5 - and if someone could give me a quick pointer on the
settings, I would be most grateful!!!
