The good news is that my spam filter is obviously working, as it labeled all the replies to this thread as spam. With the exception of the first one ;-)

Thanks David, turning off the collision primitive does help, but it's still no where near as smooth as it should be. I guess I should know better... simulation and xsi are not good buddies.
