I don't know if it was you, but this question came up on the Softimage
Community forum fairly recently.

My suggestion was using a software called Pano2QTVR:
http://gardengnomesoftware.com/pano2qtvr.php
A single-user license costs some 59 euros, which at the moment
converts to about $93 USD. (Not too bad.)

Here's a quick test I did with it using an old silly model I had:
http://s3.darkvertex.com/models/gorillabrain_qtvrobj.mov (6mb)
