Are you saying the german purity law is a good thing?

If anything, it's killed a lot of good beers (lots of smaller sub
varieties etc) and ensured all german beers taste more or less the
same, all that in the name of saving wheat...
It doesn't mean that the beer you're drinking is actually "pure" or
better by any means...

It's actually fantastic that brewers are now ignoring that silly act
and starting to produce more beer there with a bit more character to
them.
