Maya has a .pda and .pdb format (I think it's based off of old
dynamation stuff) that might work, different than the .pdc format that's
used natively. AFAIK the .pda and .pdb files can only be written out by
Maya, and not read. "dynExport" would be the command to look at if you
wanted to go that way.
