Since we never use mocap the xsi rig doesn't really do what I need it
to do. The "minor quirks, oddities, and anomalies" that you talk of is
those things that are essential to my animators. It's missing so much
that in the end I rather build my own instead of modifying the
existing one.
And while on the subject on Mocap... it seems that most of the updates
in the animation field of XSI has been geared towards the Mocap
people. I do understand why though, the gaming world is juuuuuuuuuuust
a 'tad' bigger than the film/commercial world :) But I would hope that
they will update some tools for the traditional animators also.
