I understand your problems but I still prefer the XSI file browser to the
default one. I don't agree that Fusion's standard dialog works well, it's a
damn pain (sorry). The big ones for me are quick access to projects, decent
favourites and the display of image sequences. I also like that it's nice
and big. The only thing I'd add if I could would be the Vista breadcrumb
trail in the path input and the search box.

Maybe it might be better on the long run to migrate to a "standard"
dialogue.. applications like Eyeon Fusion seem to use the standard
dialogue spiced up with some enhancement of their's, and it works
well.
