The Workgroup setup is unrelated to
Smedge.
We've been using Smedge here for years. We use the
"generic" type because we've not updated Smedge for a while. Because we use
the generic launch, I direct everyone include a call statement on the first
line of their batch file to a single setenv5_11.bat (or setenv6_5.bat) file on
the server, then let them add their own XSIBATCH commands.
I generally use the XSIBATCH -W x:/myworkgoup command on
each station before allowing the computer onto the available
farm.
I can
provide more details if you like.
What
version of Smedge are you using?

guys, Anyone using Smedge and XSI.. I dont think my workgroup is being added correctly.. Do u need to add its path in
resources? Thanks.. couldnt see any
solutions in the smedge user
forum. Oh and yes.. I would much rather be using Royal Render.. before anyone mentions
it. :p ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star. The service is powered by MessageLabs.
