That's great to hear. XSI can definitely make inroads that way,
sneaking in through the modelling department and slowly working its
way up.
I've seen some brilliant modelling done here at DNeg in XSI and the
guys would rather stab themselves in the eyes than have to model in
Maya. It's getting more accepted as at that stage it doesn't have to
be involved with the pipeline tools much and all manual workarounds
are still preferrable to the excruciating self punishment that is
modelling in Maya...
I can't wait to see Horton, my oldest girl and I are big Dr Seuss fans
and this one looks really good... ;)
