That would work but im looking for an approach that doesnt force me to
save a different scene version every time I want to not render all the
pass...

I'm on Foundation and I have the same problem when trying to
render passes. I normally override the sequence start/end for the pass I
don't want and only render one frame at low quality. That way I can hit
"Render All Passes" and go home for the night. It's not pretty but you
could try something like that in the command line.

Yes, passes should have a "renderable" parameter.
I've suggested that a while ago to Softimage, hope it
get into the next version of the Rendermanager.=20

The title says it all, is there still no
way to tell xsibatch to render all pass except one (or many)?
Smedge just lauches xsibatch nothing
more so it gets kind of annoying in scene with lots of pass having to
copy/paste the names of all the pass i want to render.=20
