Looked a bit mysterious so I contacted the RedBox guys and from what the
brochure says :
"we are currently focusing on the following applications to integrate
Plugins that will be compatible with the RedBox 3000 system :
After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Motion, Combusttion, Avid.
If your app is not on the list, please contact us."
Basicaly, it's a cluster of processors ( NOT Intel or AMD ) in a box
with
fast FP calulation capacity and ability to share ressources.
The box connects to the host PC via a PCI Express card.
A plugin is needed to talk to the target application. It has a
programmable API.
