How are you overriding it?
If it's with a partition in a pass then you can look up the value in a different pass, although it might involve creating an empty dummy pass for the purpose.
If it's by other means then it might be trickier, but you should always be able to disable the override, look up the value, and then re-enable the override.

I m trying to do a sort of dynamic override but for that I need it to evaluate the value that is overrided.

For example :
I got an override in a light partition, overriding the intensity parameter.
I need it to evaluate the intensity before the override to see if it is over 1 or under.
But I dunno where I can find this value, the pre override value.

When I inspect the value by scripting, it returns the overrided value.
As when I link off the override, my old value is back, I guess it is stored somewhere.

I need some help.
