yeah - I've done exactly this in C++ before. By enforcing a naming
convention on your parameters
you can do some really tricky stuff with dynamic PPGs. One of the
major pluses in C++ (I'm not
sure this will get you there in Python still) is that you could add
buttons, tabs etc and by using a
naming convention associate the click of a button with particular
variables. As you just perform a
regex lookup of the name of the button clicked to pull out the information.
