In regards to XSI, how do you transfer data like clothsimulations
between blender and XSI?

Is there a way of doing this for fluids as well?

What´s the current level of development there,
sequential *.obj files? How about motionblurring
that?

There was recently a discussion about setting mR
motionblur offset to 0.25 or something like that
to result in motionvectors being correctly created
for a mesh (meshes, basically) with changing numbers
of vertices per frame (for fluids). Do you use any of that?

Cheers

The ui is a bit akward at first, but you'll get the hang of it. I have
no problems at all with it. But I guess I'm a sick puppy since I work
with xsi, maya, blender, photoshop, gimp, zbrush, matchmover,
realflow... So learning blender wasnt all that difficult.

Is that including the getting used to the default interface and
 interaction with things in Blender?

I would hope I´m not stupid but whenever I tried to get into Blender,
the complete difference in layout, GUI and usage made me give up.

It always felt as if one had to suddenly do all things completely
different than in other programs...damn, even Houdini makes use
 of some common sense nowadays.

P.S: Fluids and cloth always interested me in blender

Just wanted to bump up this thread in my gmail account :)

But seriously... I'm getting better results with Blender Cloth than
with XSI Cloth or Syflex... pretty interesting... :)
