Hi Brad,

I recall having this problem with crosswalk freezing up importing .fbx files into XSI 6.5, and this was with simple camera data, (camera, camera interest, and camera root). I was under the gun, so my hack solution was to import the animation into XSI 5.11 using the old fbxxsi Addon.

Let me know if you need it.

Cheers,

Are there any caveats I need to know about importing FBX files into XSI? For example, specific elements to make sure not to include, if possible.

I have Crosswalk 2.6 installed and am trying to import a take from Motion Builder, which is basically nothing but an animated skeleton, no geometry, no envelope. When I run the import, the null hierarchy comes into XSI, but freezes at 22% (processing elements). At this point, I can cancel the import process without hosing XSI, but none of the animation has come in.

Any advice or tips here would be appreciated. :-)

Thanks!
-Brad
